TL;DR: Friendly staff and decent pho, but Pho Neighbors needs to improve floor cleanliness, portion sizes, and appetizer quality in my opinion. Fresher veggies and better presentation would enhance the experience. I visited Pho Neighbors in search of a closer alternative to my favorite spot in Garden Grove. As a longtime pho enthusiast, here's my review: Environment: The restaurant has a hole-in-the-wall feel. While the dishes and tables were clean, the floor could have been cleaner, and there were fungus gnats flying around. Service, Price, and Portions: The service was good and friendly, and the owner was very nice. Prices were standard, but portions were smaller with only one size option for the pho (as far as I'm aware.) Parking was easy, and it wasn't busy on a Monday evening. Appetizers: I ordered gỏi cuốn and chả giò. The gỏi cuốn was average, mostly shredded iceberg lettuce, and lacked pork. The peanut sauce was a bit too sweet, resembling a basic mix of peanut butter and hoisin with no other seasoning. The chả giò was standard, but the wilted lettuce and lackluster dipping sauce was disappointing. Online photos showed fresher lettuce and better spring rolls, so maybe I went on an 'off' day. Pho: I ordered pho with rare beef, brisket, and meatballs; my boyfriend got pho with rare beef, brisket, meatballs, tendon, and tripe. The pho was hot and above average compared to most places outside of Orange County but not outstanding. Presentation: The food presentation could be improved with fresher greens, adding chopped peanuts to the peanut sauce, and including pickled carrots in the chả giò dipping sauce or something. It looked bland. Summary: While the pho was decent, Pho Neighbors needs to improve floor cleanliness, portion sizes, and appetizer quality. Enhancing ingredient freshness and presentation would significantly elevate the dining experience. If I went back, I wouldn't get the fresh spring rolls, would ask for more greens and sides for the fried rolls, and also request that the sliced rare beef be served on the side to avoid being overcooked.

Everything was absolutely delicious! I'm so happy we stopped by and found this place while getting my brakes fixed down the road. Everyone working was very nice and service was fast! Small kinda too hot in here for my liking but definitely worth it regardless. I found my new favorite pho place near me.
